If you’re wanting to fins out more about the latest in pultrusion technology, don’t forget to visit Dustin Troutman and group at the booth of Creative Pultrusions.
Creative Pultrusions will be showing off some new technologies as well as the powertrusion process on the show floor at COMPOSITES 2012 this week. The company recently launched three new products and will demonstrate its ability to pultrude using polyurethane resins and high-pressure injection.
Troutman will be talking about the ACMA’s effort to achieve a pre-standard for pultruded fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites.
“It’s going to grow the market and enable engineers to recognize the legitimacy of our materials. As of now, engineers have to go out on a limb when using composites because they have no standard to reference for design. Our ongoing efforts will help them with liability issues, and help the world recognize we are a material that can be used for new structures.”
