This week, I welcome Marlo Stradley of Powerblanket on the show to discuss how they are helping manufacturers protect valuable equipment and fluids from freezing and overheating.
In 2005, Powerblanket started with one problem, “How do you cure concrete quickly with maximum strength year-round?”
This question drove the creation of the Concrete Curing Blanket, which, in turn, changed the concrete calendar for many companies.
They then realized there were industrial temperature problems all over the world where this technology could make a major difference. The recession forced them to expand their market reach into other industries including composites, where resin and gelcoat flow can be a major problem during the colder months. Now Powerblanket products improve viscosity and provide total temperature control and peace of mind year-round for manufacturers.
Marlo has been with Powerblanket for 6 years and has a 30-year career in the Aerospace industry. He’s worked with NASA and other Aerospace customers for composite launch structures.
On this episode, we’ll be discussing how Powerblanket is helping FRP manufacturers prevent project setbacks and unnecessary costs associated with adverse weather conditions by providing total temperature control.
