This week, I welcome Bob Yancey of Hexcel on the show to discuss their company and some of the emerging markets and technologies they are involved with.
Hexcel is a leading producer of carbon fiber reinforcements and resin systems and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry. They were founded back in 1948, and now have 24 plants worldwide.
Bob is the business development director for Hexcel and his work includes developing new and emerging business opportunities for advanced composites as well as traditional composites manufacturing that includes fiber, prepreg, and fabrics.
His focus has been on Advanced Composites, Additive Manufacturing, and Aerospace Structures.
