Peter is a yacht broker and in charge of business development at Bennet Brothers Yachts.

Established in 1986, Bennett Brothers Yachts is steeped in custom yacht building and specializes in the repair, refit, maintenance, brokerage and storage of both power and sailing vessels.

Peter Kurki is a resident of Wilmington, NC who moved from Fort Lauderdale – the “Yachting Captital of the World,” in 2005. His most recent projects were Marketing and Development for start-up wooden boatbuilder Masonboro Skiff Company and procurement, development and subsequent sale of the Wilmington and Brunswick County Discovery Map Franchises.

With the Miami International Boat Show concluding a couple of weeks ago, Peter has been spending a lot of time on the phone with builders and brokers gearing up business for the coming year.

On this episode, we’ll be discussing overall sales in 2015 for yachts as well as the outlook for the industry in 2016 and beyond.
